Vladimir Vinnitsky
Dr. Vinnitsky is a founder and Managing Director of Sequent. He is an experienced clinician and scientists with more than 30 years of research experience. He received his Medical Doctor degree in 1966 from Kiev State Medical Institute in Ukraine, Ph.D. in Oncology from Institute for Oncology Problems in Kiev in 1971, and Doctor of Sciences degree in Oncology in 1983 from the R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology (IEPOR) in Kiev. He is author of more than 150 scientific articles in peer reviewed scientific journals and three monographs. Dr. Vinnitsky was previously Chief of the Department and Deputy Director of IEPOR in Kiev one of the largest cancer research centers in Europe. Although a permanent resident of the U.S., Dr. Vinnitsky retains his position as Professor of Oncology at IEPOR. His unique position as a member of the senior scientific staff at IEPOR and high level scientific and administrative contacts within some of the most prestigious research Institutions in Eastern Europe have enabled Sequent to establish a number of productive, long-term collaborations.
Dr. John Shillingford
Dr. Shillingford is Sequent¹s European representative. He is a Managing Director at IMFORM, a clinical CRO specializing in operations in Eastern Europe and a former Vice President of Operations at PRA International. Dr. Shillingford has extensive experience in animal drug metabolism and toxicity testing as well as clinical drug development and regulatory strategies. He graduated from the University of Surrey with a Ph.D. in Biochemical Pharmacology.
Dr. Anatoliy Solovyov
Anatoliy Solovyov, M.D., Ph.D., D.Sci. is Director of Operations for Sequent in Kiev and was instrumental in bringing the research laboratories there into compliance with GLP. He received his Medical Doctor degree in 1972 from Orenburg State Medical Institute in Russia, Ph.D. in Physiology from A.A Bogomoletz Institite of Physiology in Kiev in 1978, and Doctor of Sciences degree in Physiology in 1988 from the A.A. Bogomoletsz Institute of Physiology in Kiev. Dr. Solovyov has a broad knowledge of experimental methods and techniques in pharmacology and toxicology. He is the Head of the Department of General Pharmacology and Toxicology at the State Pharmacological Centre of Ukraine and Head of the Laboratory for Pre-clinical Drug Trials at the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology (IPT). He has more than 25 years of experience in toxicology, pharmacology and pathophysiology and is author of 95 scientific articles in peer reviewed scientific journals and 5 monographs.
Dr. Galyna Solyanyk
Galyna Solyanyk, Ph.D., D.Sc. is Director of Quality Assurance for Sequent Development in Kiev. She received her Master of Science in Mathematics, Physics and Biology in 1976 and Ph.D. in Biophysics in 1980 from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and Doctor of Sciences in Biophysics in 2000 from the National University, Ukraine Ministry of Sciences and Education, in Kiev. Dr. Solyanyk is Head of the Department of Anticancer Resistance at the R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology (IEPOR). She has more than 20 years of experience in oncology research, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics and has published more than 70 scientific articles.
